Ann is a growth strategy and commercial change specialist with over 12 year’s experience leading and managing projects in international environments.


She began her career with Unilever plc, joining the Leadership Development Programme in 1993. After spending a few years in New Product Development within the Personal Products division, she was expatriated to the Netherlands where she furthered her career through various sales and marketing roles over the next 3 years.

Due to return to England, Ann was invited to join the start-up team of a new – and then nameless – Dutch mobile telecommunications operator (later to become Orange NL) and spent subsequent years establishing the Trade Marketing and Business Customer Value Groups. It was here she developed her passion for using leadership to drive strategy through execution in order to deliver hard commercial results.

Moving from industry to consulting at the end of 2001, Ann has spent the last 5 years focusing on growth strategy and commercial change projects in the professional services, technology and consumer goods sectors. With experience working for clients as diverse as Cisco Systems and Coca-Cola, her work has taken her on a cross-cultural journey through most of Europe, Asia and the USA.

In her spare time, Ann socialises avidly and enjoys river life from her flat next to Tower Bridge, London. She struggles with the challenges of learning Japanese and always has at least 5 books on the go.

Ann was educated at Newcastle University (BSc. Hons) and did her MBA at Henley Management College where she developed a methodology for managing and delivering Customer Value for B2B technology markets. She has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing since 1998, and was awarded Chartered Marketer status in 2001. She also enjoys membership of Mensa.
